Introductory Phone Call
The first step is a complimentary 15 minute phone call where we discuss your budget, timeline, and overall project vision. This helps us understand your needs and determine if we’re the right fit for your project.
In-Person Design Consultation
If the initial phone call feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule an in-person consultation at your project site. This meeting requires a non-refundable design fee of $475. During the consultation, we’ll dive into the design details, scope, budget, logistics, and your expected timeline. The duration of the meeting varies based on your project needs.
Design Proposal and Investment
Design fees are determined based on the scope of work. Design services for furnishings and finish selections are typically estimated at $7–$12 per square foot, depending on the scale and complexity of the project. A full comprehensive design package—including design drawings, material selections, and overall scope development—is generally estimated at $10–$15 per square foot. For smaller or more focused projects, a curated flat design fee may be proposed.
A projected range of design hours is always shared in advance to ensure clarity and transparency. Any services requested beyond the design presentation are billed hourly at $225 for design time and $150 per hour for design assistance, purchasing, and procurement
Design Presentation
Once the proposal is approved, we’ll schedule your design presentation. This typically takes place 4–18 weeks after approval, depending on the size and scope of your project.
Procurement & Planning
After design approval, the purchasing phase begins. This process can take several days to a month as we finalize orders and prepare for the next steps. You’ll receive an invoice detailing your selected items.
Please note that procurement and purchasing services—including proposal preparation for your selected items—are billed at $150 per hour. Time spent sourcing, coordinating, and compiling this purchasing document will be invoiced accordingly.
During this time, we’ll also introduce you to our trusted architects, contractors, and trade partners who will help bring your project to life with the highest level of craftsmanship.
Full Design & Digital Document Suite
Once you’ve secured your preferred contractor, we will provide a comprehensive design and construction set of drawings, accessible through our shared digital suite. All updated documents will be available there for you, your architect, and your general contractor. This shared digital suite includes all approved drawings and design plans, ensuring that your project is executed exactly as intended with no mistakes or miscommunication.
With this thorough documentation, both you and your team can confidently move forward, knowing every aspect of the design is clearly outlined and ready for implementation.
Construction & Furnishings
As construction and furnishings begin, you will receive monthly invoices for both procurement time and any receiving and storage fees. These charges are passed through from the third-party warehouse and receiving company we recommend for your project. This facility provides secure, climate-controlled storage and performs a white glove inspection of each item as it arrives, ensuring it is in perfect condition ahead of installation.
All furniture, lighting, and other large-scale items you’ve approved to be delivered to this facility will be managed there until you are ready for final installation. Storage fees may fluctuate based on the volume and duration of stored items. This process ensures your investment is protected and your install is seamless.
The Reveal
Once the project is ready for installation, we’ll ask for ample time to ensure a seamless and professional install. Multiple vendors will be involved in this phase. Afterward, you’ll receive the final project bill.
Final Touch: Photography
Lastly, we’ll photograph the completed project for our portfolio, capturing your beautifully designed space.
