The process begins with a complimentary 15 minute phone call to discuss your budget, timeline, and overall vision. This initial conversation allows us to understand your needs, answer early questions, and determine whether the fit feels right for your project.

Design Proposal & Investment

Design fees are determined based on the scope of work and the level of detail your project requires. Design services for furnishings and finish selections are typically estimated at $7 to $12 per square foot, depending on the scale and complexity of the project. A full comprehensive design package, including design drawings, material selections, and overall scope development, is generally estimated at $10 to $15 per square foot. For smaller or more focused projects, a curated flat design fee may be proposed.
A projected range of design hours is always shared in advance to ensure clarity and transparency. Any services requested beyond the design presentation are billed hourly at $225 per hour for design time and $150 per hour for design assistance, purchasing, and procurement.

After design approval, the purchasing phase begins. This process may take several days to a month as selections are finalized and orders are prepared. You will receive an invoice detailing the approved items selected for your project.
Procurement and purchasing services, including the preparation of proposals for selected items, are billed at $150 per hour. Time spent sourcing, coordinating, and compiling this purchasing documentation is invoiced accordingly.
During this phase, we also introduce clients to our trusted architects, contractors, and trade partners who help bring each project to life with the highest level of craftsmanship.

As construction and furnishings begin, monthly invoices will be issued for procurement time along with any receiving and storage fees. These charges are passed through from the third party warehouse and receiving company recommended for your project.
This facility provides secure, climate controlled storage and white glove inspection for each item as it arrives, helping ensure everything is in excellent condition ahead of installation. Furniture, lighting, and other large scale approved items are received and managed there until the home is ready for final installation.
Storage fees may vary depending on the quantity of items and the length of storage time. This process helps protect your investment and supports a seamless installation experience.
Clients should also expect to invest approximately $100 to $200 per square foot for furnishings and materials. This typically includes furniture, drapery, rugs, and accessories. Artwork is generally not included in this range.
